Automated Handwriting Analysis for Personality Prediction

Graphology is a technique for analyzing and understanding human personality characteristics based on handwriting strokes and patterns. Through handwriting analysis,
one can gain insight into aspects such as emotions, fears, honesty, and defence mechanisms.

Graphologists, who are professional handwriting examiners, can often identify the writer based on their handwriting. However, the precision of this analysis depends on the skill of the analyst and can be expensive and prone to errors.

Therefore, a proposed methodology aims to develop a system that extracts handwriting features to predict personality traits without human intervention. This involves considering 4 handwriting features, including writing slant, baseline, pen pressure and spacing between words. These parameters are classified with predefined tags by former research to output the personality trait of the writer.
