Overview
HKU Portal is accessible through web browsers, users can access the portal via a browser. Therefore, the HKU Portal is available for any smart devices that provide internet access. However, it is important to note that the web page is primarily optimized for computer-sized devices. Except for using a computer, using other smart devices will result in a non-user-friendly experience.
The current UI layout does not completely adapt to mobile screens. However, a tool lacking a user-friendly User Interface (UI) hinders its effectiveness and usefulness for users. For example, a small button may result in accidentally pressing the wrong button, overwhelming content will make users lose their focus and patience to the website.
HKU Portal Mobile/Web Application aims to provide a mobile user-friendly, convenient way for students to quickly access useful information in the HKU Portal. Feature may include Dashboard, Calendar, ToDo list, Notification, etc.
