“The existing deeds registration system in Hong Kong does not provide legal ownership validity upon registration, leading to uncertainties in property titles and potential disputes. Additionally, the lack of an online registration system hinders easy examination and verification of property titles, adding complexity and cost to the buying process. The legacy system of paper deeds also poses challenges for secure storage and increases the risk of loss or tampering.“
System Overview
Our proposed solution is a blockchain-based land registration system that leverages the Ethereum platform. By utilizing blockchain technology, we aim to create a secure, transparent, and efficient platform for property registration and ownership transfer. The system will provide a tamper-proof record of property ownership, enhance accessibility and transparency, streamline the buying process, and ensure data security and privacy.

Develop smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain to automate property ownership transfers, ensuring secure and trusted transactions with built-in verification.

Create a user-friendly frontend interface that allows property buyers and sellers to easily view property details, initiate ownership transfer transactions, and verify transaction status, en-hancing accessibility and transparency.
